What to wear during exercise

Depending on the type of exercise you will be doing and its intensity, you will choose what to wear to stay comfortable and cool. It is of high importance to wear clothes that fits well to warrant a successful workout. Many factors need to be looked at carefully, such as the fabric or the style of the clothes, the weather, the place of exercise (indoor or outdoor) and its type.

  • Clothes While choosing your clothes, choose the ones that keep you comfortable the most. As for the fabric, get those that are moisture-wicking material, like CoolMax, Supplex or Dri-FIT fibers that are also called technical fabrics. Unlike cotton shirts, those kinds of fabrics will keep away the sweat from your body and help you manage your body temperature thus, leaving you at ease during the workout
  • Shoes. While choosing the appropriate shoes for your workouts you need to consider two main factors. First, the type of activity chosen might sometimes require specific shoes. For instance, basketball or weight lifting have special shoes that protects your feet. Second, you need to make sure that they are comfortable, they boosts your performance and support your feet and ankles
  • Socks.The major things you want to prevent during workout are feet irritations, odors, skin or nail fungus and blisters. Those can be due to frictions between your shoes and your skin or to excess moisture. In order to prevent such problems, you will have to get socks made of synthetic materials such as polyester, acrylic, and CoolMax rather than 100% cotton. This way moisture will not be trapped for a long period of time in your feet
